Palais Royal Oval Ring Dish
The “Je T’aime Paris” collection celebrates the simplicity, tradition, elegance and whimsy of French style. I went to Paris for the first time when I was 15 and it was love at first sight. I returned at 17 to live there for the summer and study French. Even now, as an adult, the magic is still there each time I go. I could spend the rest of my life walking the streets of Paris and never stop being inspired by the architecture, the style, the people, the food, the art, the language- to me, it’s endless beauty.
These striped pieces are specifically inspired by Les Deux Plateaux (otherwise known as Colonnes de Buren), which is an art installation created by the French artist Daniel Buren in 1985-1986. It is located in the inner courtyard of the Palais Royal in Paris, France.
This hand-made and hand-painted dish is food safe and dishwasher safe. It measures 3.25” x 4.75”.
