Striped Wild Rose Vase
The Green Gables Collection is named from my most favorite childhood book series, Anne of Green Gables. Those stories are still very near and dear to me and every few years I re-read the novels. I can imagine any one of these pieces existing at Green Gables. I can see Anne using the ribbon bowl to collect daisies in the fields behind the house. Or Marilla using one of the ring dishes for her amethyst broach. Or Matthew using the little wildflower dish to hold a biscuit for his afternoon tea. It’s a world that I’d like to live in: a world of imagination, the beauty of nature, finding the magic in the mundane and unwavering belief in true love.
Each vase is hand-built and hand-painted. This piece should be treated as a truly one-of-a-kind art item. It measures 3.75" tall and has an opening of 2.5".
